Aurora Home Care, Inc. has been privileged to serve as a licensed home care service agency (LHCSA), offering skilled nursing services to medically vulnerable children and adults within the safety and comfort of their homes. Our services span the Western New York area, reaching nine key counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, Wyoming, and Monroe. In April 2001, Michael Reda, president of Aurora Home Care, Inc., in consultation with a client’s mother seeking care, recognized the necessity for a transformation in licensed home care services. Thus, the Family-Directed Home Care Program was born, tailored to address the unique challenges families encounter when managing their loved one’s care. This innovative program allows clients or their families to independently select, manage, and coordinate their nursing staff while still ensuring professional clinical supervision.
